Our design philosophy is simple: get out of the way of the leather. Our designs are inspired by the minimal design aesthetic of leather bags from the 1920’s to 1940’s. We make bags the old fashioned way, using thick full grain leather – the kind of leather your grandfather would have appreciated. The leather we use is tanned to perfection and truly a work of art in its own right. So we try to let the leather speak for itself and avoid clutter and excessive design features.
We emphasize functionality in our designs. We don’t use fake closures on our bags or decorative stitching. Everything you see serves a purpose and is functional.

We use only the finest materials and have over-engineered our bags to last for decades. Every detail has been meticulously planned out with durability in mind. From the leather to the thread to the hardware, these bags are going to be around for a long time.
Our leather goods are handcrafted at a small family-run factory in the United States. Our factory has skilled designers, pattern-makers and craftsmen with decades of experience in leather.
