It is central to our mission that our clothing be made in America. In 1960, 95% of apparel sold by American brands was made in the United States. Today, only 2% is manufactured here. That represents a decline of more than 80% (from about 900,000 to 150,000) US-based jobs in the last two decades. By designing, manufacturing and distributing our clothing here at home, we hope to help recover lost American jobs and stimulate job growth for the future by training the next generations of American apparel makers who will, like those who passed before them, take pride in their work.
By doing our part to bring jobs back to the United States, we also honor our veterans and the men and women currently serving who will one day be veterans in need of our support.
At Bunker 27, we hope you will join forces with us in our effort to keep American manufacturing alive and thriving by buying American-made products. After all, it takes all of us to keep America strong.
